How would you like to be a marmoset's mom
or a prehensile-tailed porcupine's pop?

Now you can with the Brandywine Zoo's A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Depend On People Too) Program. The Delaware Zoological Society invites you to "adopt" your favorite animal for a year. Your "adoption fee" will be specifically used to develop animal habitats and is tax deductible.

As a participant in our Adoption Program, you will receive a certificate of adoption, a copy of "Zoo News" and your name will be displayed on the Honor Roll of Zoo Parents.

Anyone can be a Zoo Parent: school groups, businesses, civic and service organizations, individuals and families. Naturally, your adoption is for sponsorship purposes only; your chosen animal remains at the Zoo. Because of their popularity, some animals may be adopted by more than one Parent. You can become a Parent for a different animal each year, or your adoption can be renewed as often as you wish. An adoption is a wonderful gift idea too.

It's easy to adopt. Just choose an animal or two from the list below, fill out the application form and fax it to (302) 571-7787 or send it with your check made payable to the Delaware Zoological Society to 1001 North Park Drive, Wilmington, DE 19802.
