DESCRIPTION:Join zoo staff and members of the DE Ornithological Society for a bird ID walk in Brandywine Park. Winter birding can reveal a variety of species since there aren’t leaves on the trees or bushes for them to hide amongst. Of course\, we’ll be looking for waterfowl along the river as well! The walk will commence after a viewing of Bird Joy\, a short documentary about John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Philadelphia. Meet at the Education Building by 9a and bring binoculars if you have them. Some spares will be on hand if not.
