Join zoo staff and members of the DE Ornithological Society for a bird ID walk in Brandywine Park. Winter birding can reveal a variety of species since there aren’t leaves on the trees or bushes for them to hide amongst. Of course, we’ll be looking for waterfowl along the river as well! For a fun start, we’ll warm up with some bird-friendly coffee and watch an excerpt from the documentary Birders: The Central Park Effect. Meet at the Education Building by 9am and bring binoculars if you have them. Some spares will be on hand if not. All ages and levels of birding are welcome!
