Animal Keeper
Brandywine Zoo has an awesome opportunity to work at the zoo as an Animal Keeper. The duties for the position will include but are not limited to the following: daily cleaning, feeding and observation of animals in a specified area, basic maintenance duties, public speaking through keeper talks and guest interactions, operant conditioning training, exhibit maintenance, basic grounds keeping, record keeping, and other duties required for daily operations.

Assistant Zoo Manager
Brandywine Zoo is looking to fill the exciting role of Assistant Zoo Manager. This is a supervisory level position responsible for supervising the feeding, general care and welfare of zoo animals, grounds, equipment, maintenance and visitor safety. The incumbent assists with the day to day maintenance, visitor programs, services and fiscal administration. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has knowledge of zoology, biology, animal husbandry, or animal physiology; experience in feeding, monitoring diet, handling, and observing wild/exotic animals, and experience in working in an AZA accredited zoo.

Visitor Services Associate
The Delaware Zoological Society is hiring! We are looking for friendly and energetic people to fill positions in our concession stand. As part of the Visitor Services team at the Brandywine Zoo, the associate will create a positive and fun experience for all guests. This team member will welcome guests to the snack bar and sell items efficiently. This is a part-time seasonal position that runs mid-through December. Hours are 9:45-4pm. A flexible schedule is a must, and both weekday and weekend positions are available.. Customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $9.25 per hour
Minimum age requirement: 17

COVID-19 considerations: To keep our staff and guests safe, we have installed plastic barriers. We also provide staff with gloves and require all guests and staff to wear face masks.
