Mighty Monarch Day
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 10AM-3PM
Come dressed in your best butterfly attire as we celebrate all things Monarch Butterfly at our annual Mighty Monarch Day! They’ve spent their summer in Delaware and are now fluttering their way to Mexico for the winter. Learn about the Monarch’s incredible journey and celebrate the places they call home through special themed activities, Storytime, and much more!

OCTOBER
Celebrate Lemurs!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 10AM-3PM
World Lemur Festival takes place around the world each October, celebrating these incredible primates and efforts to conserve them. Visit the zoo for a day of lemur-themed activities, special keeper talks, a Storytime, and more!

Migratory Bird Day
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 10AM-3PM
Fly on over to the zoo to join our Migratory Bird Day Event! We’re celebrating this year’s theme “Every Bird Counts – Your Observations Matter!” by highlighting the role of public participation in collecting data on migratory bird populations and their habitats. Enjoy bird-themed activities, games, and more!

Boo at the Zoo
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18, 10AM-3PM
Celebrate Halloween zoo-style with this merry, not scary event. All are invited to wear costumes while visiting the zoo animals. Please bring your own bag. We’ll have plenty of treats and activities for the trick-or-treaters and festive decorations for photo-ops.
Tickets available online and at the door. Online purchase recommended. Brandywine Zoo members do not need to register in advance. Library passes, guest passes, or any other promotion will not be accepted.

Creepy & Crawly Trivia Night
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 5:30-7:30PM
Join us for a fun 21 and up trivia night at the zoo. Test your knowledge about the animal world’s most notorious creepy crawlies. Plus, meet some of Brandywine Zoo’s ambassador animals up close!
Drinks and snacks will be provided. The winning team will bring home a special prize and trophy!

Sip & Stroll - Halloween-themed
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22, 5-7:30PM
Sip & Stroll through the zoo and visit with the animals at our family-friendly happy hour event.
This evening event will feature a local food vendor and live music, along with adult beverages, including craft beer and wine. Plus, our concession stand will be open with snacks and soft drinks. This event is rain or shine.
Members: Adult $5, Youth $3

NOVEMBER
Scout Night
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 4:30-7PM
Enjoy an evening at the zoo for this specially designed event for scouts and their families! There will be activities and learning stations geared toward scout requirements. This program takes place in the zoo so dress for the weather.
Pre-registration highly recommended! Scout Night often sells out; we recommend purchasing your tickets early.
FEE: $10/person (scouts, parents, and siblings ages 3+)
PATCHES: Zoo Fun Patches available for $2 at the Gift Shop.
DECEMBER
Santa at the Zoo
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5, 10AM-12:30PM
TWO TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE
Take a photo with Santa at the Winter Wonderland event! Meet Santa, share your wishes, and get photos (you take with your camera) at this Winter Wonderland tradition at the Brandywine Zoo. Enjoy holiday activities and fun educational tables and vendors. Wilbur Choir will be performing at the Wildlife Amphitheater.
Members MUST register for this event! Tickets available at the door and online. Online purchase recommended. Library passes, guest passes, or any other promotion will not be accepted.

Winter Wonderland

Birds & Bees Trivia Night
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19 & SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 5:30-7:30PM
Singles and sweethearts 21 and up are invited to test your knowledge about mating, dating, and reproduction in the animal world. Plus, meet some of Brandywine Zoo’s ambassador animals up close.
Drinks and snacks will be provided. The team with the most knowledge about ‘the birds and the bees’ will bring home a special trophy!

We are thrilled to include a photo spot at our event provided by Showtime Photo Booth, the best photo booth rental in Los Angeles. Their unique touch will add a special element to our celebration.
