Member Gathering & Annual Report

Blue Ball Barn, 1914 W. Park Drive, Wilmington, DelawareMembers are invited to learn about the behind-the-scenes activities and future plans for the Zoo from leaders of the Delaware Zoological Society, the non-profit that supports the mission of the Brandywine Zoo, and leaders of the Brandywine Zoo. After a half hour of speakers, there will be questions from attendees and discussions.
FEBRUARY
Birds & Bees Trivia Night (21+)
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7 & SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 5:30-7:30PM
Celebrate Valentine’s Day in the wildest way by joining us for a fun adults-only trivia night at the zoo! Singles and sweethearts 21 and up are invited to test your knowledge about mating, dating, and reproduction in the animal world. Plus, meet some of Brandywine Zoo’s Ambassador Animals up close. Wine and snacks will be provided. The team with the most knowledge about ‘the birds and the bees’ will bring home a special trophy!
This event will be held inside the Education Building located across the cobblestone road from the entrance of the Zoo.

MARCH
Zoobilee
SATURDAY, MARCH 22, 6:30PM
ZOOBILEE will be a fun-filled gala dinner dance celebrating the 120th Anniversary of the Brandywine Zoo. Enjoy music, dinner, dancing, silent auction, live auction, and the presentation of the Zoo Champion Award.
APRIL
Scout Night
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5, 4:30-7PM
Enjoy an evening at the zoo for this specially designed event for scouts and their families! There will be activities and learning stations geared toward scout requirements. This program takes place in the zoo so dress for the weather.

Lively, After Hours Fundraiser at the Brandywine Zoo! Enjoy a variety of beer, wine and spirits from numerous vendors, and light fare provided by local restaurants. Food and beverages are included in admission ticket. Live music by Green Eggs and Jam. Brew at the Zoo is a fundraiser for the Delaware Zoological Society. Your ticket purchase helps further the zoo’s mission of conservation and education.

Sip & Stroll

Sip & Stroll through the zoo at our family friendly happy hour series, June through October. Each Sip will feature a local food vendor and live music, along with adult beverages, including craft beer and wine. Plus, our concession stand will be open with snacks and soft drinks.
Limited number of tickets will be sold. Drink and food purchases sold separately. Drink tickets ($6) and silicone cups can be purchased at the ticket window or snack bar.
