We’re celebrating all things monarch butterfly at our annual Mighty Monarch Day!
They’ve spent their summer in Delaware and are now fluttering their way to Mexico. Learn about the journey and the places they call home with monarch themed Storytimes, a craft to make, and a performance by Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo on our amphitheater stage. You can also participate in the Symbolic Migration program by decorating your own paper butterfly that will be sent to children in schools located near the overwintering sites in Mexico! Come dressed in butterfly attire or accessories and visit vendors and exhibitors or take a photo with our Monarch Queen before she migrates out of sight.
