OCTOBER
Boo at the Zoo
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18 & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19, 10AM-3PM
Celebrate halloween zoo-style with this merry, not scary event. All are invited to wear costumes while visiting the zoo animals. Be sure to stop by the welcome table to get your activity guide and vendor passport to receive a stamp from each table vendor!
Please bring your own bag. We’ll have plenty of treats and activities for the trick-or-treaters, a special Creature Feature at 11am and festive decorations for photo-ops. Brandywine Zoo members receive a discount for this event!
Join our Costume Parade on Friday at 10:30am & 1:30pm with Zoo Mascot Ringo. Meet up at the picnic circle to participate!
Library passes, guest passes or any other promotion will not be accepted. Tickets available at the door and online. Online purchase are recommended.

Spirits at the Zoo
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 5:30-8PM
Celebrate halloween at the zoo for an evening of holiday revelry.
Enjoy spooky cocktails, light nibbles, and bewitching entertainment with live music by Green Eggs and Jam. Wear your costumes to be entered into the costume contest with prizes, or just come and enjoy! Costume Contest contestants will be limited. If you’d like to enter the Costume Contest, please arrive by 6:30pm to add your name. Contest will start on the stage at 7pm.
Tickets include admission and entertainment. Drink and food purchases sold separately. Drink tickets ($6) and silicone cups can be purchased at the ticket window or snack bar. Special thanks to Dogfish Head Beer & Benevolence for their generous donation of beer and canned cocktails!

NOVEMBER
Creepy & Crawly Trivia Night (21+)

The spooky season doesn’t have to be over yet! Join us for a fun 21 and up trivia night at the zoo. Test your knowledge about the animal world’s most notorious creepy crawlies. Plus, meet some of Brandywine Zoo’s Ambassador Animals up close. Drinks and snacks will be provided. The winning team will bring home a special prize and trophy!

Santa at the Zoo

Meet Santa, share your wishes, and get photos (you take with your camera) at this Winter Wonderland tradition at the Brandywine Zoo. Enjoy holiday activities and fun educational tables and vendors.
Special Guests – Wilbur Elementary Choir will perform at our Wildlife Amphitheater on Saturday, 12/6, 11:15am-12:00pm.

Zoo Year's Eve
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 10AM-2PM
Celebrate New Year’s Eve early in the day with a group countdown and sparkling apple cider! Due to the popularity of this event, there will be two ball drops! One ball drop at 11am and another at 1pm.
All those planning to attend, members and non-members, must register online. Program takes place outside, so dress for the weather! Some animals may not be out due to the cold weather.
Library passes, guest passes or any other promotion will not be accepted. Delaware Zoological Society members will be admitted free, but must register online and be prepared to show membership card upon entry.

JANUARY
Rest & Revelry Trivia Night (21+)

Start the new year with a creature challenge! Join us for a 21 and up trivia night at the zoo. Test your knowledge about the animal world’s restful winters and rowdy play times. Plus, meet some of Brandywine Zoo’s ambassador animals up close.
Drinks and snacks will be provided. The winning team will bring home a special prize and trophy!

We are thrilled to include a photo spot at our event provided by Showtime Photo Booth, the best photo booth rental in Los Angeles. Their unique touch will add a special element to our celebration.

Birds & Bees Trivia Night (21+)

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in the wildest way by joining us for a fun, adults-only trivia night at the zoo! Singles and sweethearts 21 and up are invited to test your knowledge about mating, dating, and reproduction in the animal world. Plus, meet some of Brandywine Zoo’s ambassador animals up close.
Drinks and snacks will be provided. The team with the most knowledge about ‘the birds and the bees’ will bring home a special trophy!
