The Delaware Zoological Society is holding an Online Auction to raise money for the Brandywine Zoo. Stay tuned as we highlight some fabulous and one of a kind items up for bid soon!

Guest Bartending Event at BBC Tavern and Grill
THURSDAY, MAY 1, 6-9PM
Join us and our guest bartenders for an evening of drinks and fun in supporting the Brandywine Zoo! This guest bartending event will be held at BBC Tavern and Grill located at 4019 Kennett Pike, Greenville, DE 19807.
Help us reach our goal of $15,000! If you can’t make it out to the event please consider making a donation. All funds raised go directly to support the Brandywine Zoo.
Spring Native Plant Sale
SATURDAY, MAY 24, SUNDAY, MAY 25 & MONDAY, MAY 26; 10AM-2PM
Stop by the zoo front gate (zoo admission is not required) to purchase a 6-pack of native plants for $30. Each pack comes with 6, low-water, 5″x2″ plugs of native plant species and an instruction pamphlet with all the information you need for these easy-care plants.
Six-packs will contain:
- Goldenrod ‘Solar Cascade’
- Beardtongue
- False Blue Indigo
- New York Aster
- Cinderella Milkweed
- Common Milkweed
Brew at the Zoo (21+)
FRIDAY, MAY 30, 5:30-8:30PM
Lively, After Hours Fundraiser at the Brandywine Zoo! Enjoy a variety of beer, wine and spirits from numerous vendors, light fare provided by local restaurants, and specialty coffee from Lucky Shot. Food and beverages are included in admission ticket. Live music by Green Eggs and Jam. Brew at the Zoo is a fundraiser for the Delaware Zoological Society. Your ticket purchase helps further the zoo’s mission of conservation and education.

JUNE
Sip & Stroll
THURSDAY, JUNE 26, 5-7:30PM
Sip & Stroll through the zoo at our family friendly happy hour series, June through September. Each Sip will feature a local food vendor and live music, along with adult beverages, including craft beer and wine. Plus, our concession stand will be open with snacks and soft drinks.
Limited number of tickets will be sold. Drink and food purchases sold separately. Drink tickets ($6) and silicone cups can be purchased at the ticket window or snack bar.
Members: Adult $5, Youth $3

Family Fun Night

Boo at the Zoo
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18 & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19 10AM-3PM
Celebrate halloween zoo-style with this merry, not scary event.
All are invited to wear costumes while visiting the zoo animals. Plenty of treats and activities. Bring your own bag for treats. We’ll have activities for the trick-or-treaters and festive decorations for photo-ops. Brandywine Zoo members receive a discount for this event! Library passes, guest passes or any other promotion will not be accepted. Tickets available at door and online. Online purchase recommended.

Spirits at the Zoo
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 5:30-8PM
Celebrate halloween at the zoo for an evening of holiday revelry.
Enjoy spooky cocktails and liquid libations, light nibbles, and bewitching entertainment with live music by Green Eggs and Jam. Costumes are encouraged! Tickets include admission and entertainment. Drink and food purchases sold separately. Drink tickets ($6) and silicone cups can be purchased at the ticket window or snack bar. Special thanks to Dogfish Head Beer & Benevolence for their generous donation of beer and canned cocktails!

NOVEMBER
Scout Night
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 4:30-7PM
Enjoy an evening at the zoo for this specially designed event for scouts and their families! There will be activities and learning stations geared toward scout requirements. This program takes place in the zoo so dress for the weather. Pre-registration required.
FEE: $10/person (scouts, parents, and siblings)
PATCHES: Zoo Fun Patches available for $2 at the Gift Shop.
DECEMBER
Santa at the Zoo
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6 & SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7, 10AM-12:30PM
Please select from two available time slots
Meet Santa, share your wishes, and get photos (you take with your camera) at this Winter Wonderland tradition at the Brandywine Zoo. Enjoy holiday activities and fun educational tables and vendors. Members MUST register for this event! Tickets available at the door and online. Online purchase recommended. All guests, both children and adults, must register for this event! Library passes, guest passes or any other promotion will not be accepted.
