Migratory Bird Day
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 10AM-3PM
It's migration season for many of the birds with which we've shared spring and summer.
Fly on over to the zoo to join our Migratory Bird Day Event! We’re celebrating this year’s theme “Every Bird Counts – Your Observations Matter!” by highlighting the role of public participation in collecting data on migratory bird populations and their habitats. Enjoy bird-themed activities, games, and more!
Special guest Scotty Horey will perform on the marimba at our Wildlife Amphitheater! This talented musician hits the stage at 12pm to introduce you to an instrument popular in Mexico and a Spanish Language Storytime will be held at 2:30pm.
Members: Free
Non-members: $9/adult, $7/youth
Children under 3: Free
