Brew at the Zoo returns June 3 with family-friendly atmosphere and all-inclusive ticket
Wilmington, Del.: The Brandywine Zoo’s unique brew-fest style, Brew at the Zoo, returns Friday eve, June 3, 5:30-8:30p.m. after a hiatus of two years. This year the zoo will play host to a gaggle of local breweries and restaurants. This is a fundraiser for the Delaware Zoological Society, the non-profit that supports the Brandywine Zoo. The Zoo will benefit from ticket purchases, a 50/50 raffle, as well as supporters’ participation in an online auction.
New this year, and by popular request, supervised children are welcome to attend and enjoy animal encounters and activities. All ages will enjoy visiting the animals and listening to live music by popular reggae band, Spokey Speaky.
Ticket holders are invited to enjoy the beer and wine bars located throughout the zoo, as well as stations for soft drinks, hard seltzers, water, coffee, and ice-cream. Restaurants will offer culinary creations at pop-ups throughout the zoo. See a full list of participating vendors on the website.
