Buying native plants is a great way to support the pollinators that visit your home! Luckily, we will be having a plant sale for that very reason.

Stop by the zoo front gate (zoo admission is not required) to purchase a 6-pack of pollinator plants for $30. Plus, rain barrels and natural garden sprays made by students from our Conservation Leadership Academy will also be on sale. Bees, butterflies, and songbirds will benefit from the new additions to your yard, porch, or balcony.

• 2 –  Blazing star (Liatris spicata)
• 1 –  Butterfly weed (Asclepias tuberosa)
• 2 – Goldenrod (Solidago shortii ‘Solar Cascade’)
• 1 –  Swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata)
